    • Choose flowers already arranged in water. Wrapped bouquets with bare stems are hard for older hands to trim and place in a vase.

    • Opt for low-maintenance arrangements—something neat, easy to enjoy, and fuss-free.

    • Avoid heavily scented blooms like lilies, as small rooms can become overwhelmed by strong fragrances.

    • Keep arrangements compact and easy to move—space on tables and windowsills is usually limited.
